In-Home Therapy (IHT) Services provide intensive therapy for a child and family to treat the child’s behavioral health needs and help the family support the child in the home. IHT is a voluntary service for families of youth ages 0-21. This services is part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). This service is provided in any setting where the child is located and is best suited to meet the family’s needs. The service is provided by a clinician and a Therapeutic Training and Support staff who are teamed to best support the goals of the family. The In-Home Therapy team develops a structured and strength-based therapeutic relationship with the youth and family. This relationship is essential in treating the youth’s behavioral health needs and improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote healthy functioning within the family.
