Team Leader of Respite Services- Responsible for the coordination of in-home respite services within the Community and Family Support Services division. Demonstrate a commitment to the empowerment of children, adolescents and families to recognize their potential. Incorporate the agency philosophy of systemic thinking. Use resources from the community and agency with awareness of social policies and concern for clients. Facilitate the integrity of the family while ensuring safety at all times.

  • Coordination of respite services provided by LUK, including case management for clients and families

  • Oversight and supervision of part-time staff

  • Development of mechanisms to promote client and community involvement within the program

  • Participate in maintenance and review of electronic health records

  • Ensure timely and thorough completion and submission of all required documentation by staff including billing

  • Marketing and promotion of services and recruitment of part-time staff

  • Participation in agency on-call rotation

  • Serve as a liaison between multiple funding sources and the agency, including attendance at regularly scheduled meetings in the community

  • Meet productivity targets as assigned, including maintaining a direct client caseload

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field coupled with five years of experience working with children, adolescents, families or at-risk youth. Supervision or management experience preferred.
